Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. saltines, crushed
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Directions

    Whip egg whites until stiff.

    Fold in sugar gradually, then add other ingredients.

    Mix baking powder with cracker crumbs. Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes in large pie pan.

    When cool, top with whipping cream and let stand in refrigerator not less than 8 hours.
