  • 2 cans whole green beans, drained
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 to 4 buttons garlic
  • red pepper (optional)
  • dash of black pepper

Directions

    Put beans in bowl.

    Place garlic buttons around in beans.

    Mix vinegar, cooking oil, sugar and pepper.

    Pour over beans.

    Cover and place in refrigerator.

    Leave overnight.

    Drain off all liquid and serve.
