- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 to 2 tsp. caraway seed
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- flour
- 1 large cabbage
Directions

1Mix ground beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. In a saucepan, mix tomato soup, water, sauce, caraway seed and flour to thicken. Simmer. Put the whole head of cabbage in a large pot half filled with water.

2Boil until crisp-tender. Drain and peel away leaves.

3Spread leaved open and roll meat into cabbage rolls.

4Place in pan and pour sauce over rolls.

5Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
