Ingredients
- 24 oz. can V-8 juice
- juice of 1 lemon
- 16 oz. can tomatoes or 3 peeled whole fresh tomatoes
- 4 slices stale bread
- 14 oz. can chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of Tabasco
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 small cucumber, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
Directions

1Into blender put the first four ingredients.

2Blend well.

3Pour into large plastic bowl.

4Add broth, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper and Tabasco to taste.

5Stir well.

6Now add the remaining ingredients.

7Chill overnight or at least 4 hours; stir again before serving.

8This improves with age.
