- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 large potatoes, pared
- 5 carrots, sliced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 (3 oz.) can French onion rings
Directions

1Parboil the potatoes and carrots for 20 minutes. Slice potatoes thinly. Brown beef and onion. Drain excess grease; set aside.

2Mix soup, catsup and mushrooms.

3Butter a 2-quart casserole.

4Layer beef-onion mixture, potatoes, soup mixture and carrots.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Top with onion rings and return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes until onion rings are crisp and brown.

6Slice the potatoes before cooking and also carrots.
