- 2 sticks unsalted butter (250 g)
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar (150 g)
- 1 3/4 c. flour (250 g)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can cherries, packed in water, drained (not cherry pie filling)
Directions

1Soften butter.

2Mix butter with eggs; beat in sugar, then flour.

5Pour mixture into greased and floured cake pan.

6Dot the top with cherries.

7They will sink in while baking.

8Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown around edges.
