German Chocolate Pie

- 1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Melt chocolate with margarine over low heat.

2Remove. Gradually blend in milk.

3Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together; add beaten eggs and vanilla to dry mixture.

4Blend into chocolate mixture.

5Pour into unbaked 10-inch pie shell.

6Mix the coconut and pecans; sprinkle over top.

7Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until top is puffed.

8Filling will be soft but will set while cooling.

9Cool 4 hours before serving.
