German Chocolate Pie

- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German's sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked 10-inch pie shell
Directions

1Melt chocolate and margarine in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir in milk gradually. Combine dry ingredients with eggs and vanilla in bowl.

4Mix well. Blend in chocolate mixture.

5Pour into pie shell and sprinkle with coconut and pecans.

6Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

7Cool for 4 hours or longer.
