German Chocolate Pie

- 4 oz. German sweet chocolate
- 1/2 stick butter
- 14 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat.

2Remove from heat and add milk.

3Set aside.

4Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Add eggs and vanilla.

5Slowly blend in chocolate mixture.

6Pour into pie shell.

7Sprinkle coconut and pecans over filling.

8Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
