German Chocolate Roulage

Ingredients

• 6 large eggs, separated
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
• 1 to 2 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut, toasted
• 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 5 tablespoons half-and-half
• 2/3 cup whipping cream
• 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
• 2 (4-ounce) sweet chocolate bars, finely chopped (we tested with Baker's)
• Garnish: toasted flaked coconut
