  • 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) cream-style corn

Directions

    Melt a little grease in heavy iron skillet.

    Let it get hot, then pour batter in. Bake at 400° until knife inserted in center comes out clean. This will take about 25 to 30 minutes.

    Keeping in refrigerator will keep it moist. Good for holiday season.
