German Noodle Bake

- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. Velveeta or Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook noodles in salted water.

2Saute onion and celery in butter until golden.

3Add pepper.

4Blend into cooked noodles in 2-quart casserole.

5Add sour cream, cottage cheese and 3/4 of shredded cheese.

6Pour beaten eggs over all and blend gently. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese over all and bake for 1 hour at 350°. Let stand a few minutes before serving.

7May be made in flat pan and cut into squares.
