  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 to 4 slices bacon
