  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 2 to 3 lb. red cabbage, sliced
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 bay leaves
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • dash of cloves
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. beef stock
