  • 1 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour (unsifted)
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.

    In a large bowl, mix at medium speed, oleo, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.

    In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda.

    Add flour mixture to creamed mixture until well blended. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
