  • 3 sticks oleo, melted
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cloves

    Blend oleo, molasses, sugar and eggs.

    Beat well.

    Sift together and add the rest of the ingredients to the oleo mixture. Refrigerate the dough for several hours.

    Make off into small balls; roll in sugar.

    Bake at 350° until firm or brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
