- 1 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 3/4 c. flour
Directions

1Beat butter and sugar together.

2Mix in remaining ingredients. Roll into balls the size of a marble.

3Place on buttered cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.

4Take flat glass and butter bottom. Dip into sugar and press on cookie.

5Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.

6They brown easily.
