- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream the Crisco, sugar, egg, molasses and water.

2Blend in remaining ingredients and chill.

3Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

4Bake 8 minutes in a 350° oven or until no imprint remains when touched lightly in the center.
