- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions

1Combine oil and 1 cup sugar; add egg and beat well.

2Stir in molasses.

3Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and ginger; add to molasses mixture, stirring to mix.

4Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each in remaining 1/4 cup sugar.

5Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

6Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned at 350°.
