Ginger Persuasion

Name: Ginger Persuasion
Ingredients: 4 blueberries; Ice; 1 ounce vodka; 1/2 ounce ginger liqueur; 1/2 ounce aquavit; 1 tablespoon honey, preferably lavender honey; 2 dashes of Angostura bitters; 1 ounce sparkling Pinot Noir or other red sparkling wine

4 blueberries
Ice
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce ginger liqueur
1/2 ounce aquavit
1 tablespoon honey, preferably lavender honey
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
1 ounce sparkling Pinot Noir or other red sparkling wine

Directions

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the berries.

Add ice and the vodka, ginger liqueur, aquavit, honey and bitters and shake well.

Pour through a fine strainer into a chilled flute and float the sparkling wine on top.
