- 1 c. butter, melted
- 2 c. sorghum
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sour milk
- 4 c. plain flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Beat eggs (whole) until light.

2Add brown sugar, ginger and melted butter.

3Stir in molasses, sour milk, soda and flour.

4Mix well.

5Beat until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

6Grease and flour a pan and bake in moderately hot oven.

7Serve with any sauce you prefer.
