Ingredients

  • 50 g crystallized ginger, diced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 900 ml ginger ale
  • 150 ml lemon squash soft drink
  • 600 ml water
  • 50 g sugar
  • grated nutmeg
  • 6 cloves (optional)
  • 1 orange, zest of (optional)
  • 1 lemon, zest of (optional)

Directions

    Put ginger & lemon in the bottom of a warmed punch bowl.

    Heat all remaining ingredients in a pan and pour over ginger & lemon.
  3. 3
    Serve hot with grated nutmeg on top.

    For extra bite add one or more of the optional ingredients.
