  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sorghum
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder; dissolved in 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbspnvinegar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

    Cream the shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sorghum until smooth. Add dry ingredients. Shape into balls, dip in sugar, and bake on 350 degrees until done.
