- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs and beat.

3Combine molasses and baking soda.

4Add to first mixture and stir well.

5Sift the dry ingredients together and add to mixture alternately with the water.

6Pour into a greased 7 x 11-inch baking pan.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
