  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Beat eggs, then add eggs, milk and molasses.

    Sift flour, soda and ginger into mixture and beat well. Bake in 9 x 12-inch pan for 45 minutes at 350°.

    Cool and top squares with whipped cream when serving.
