- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 beef flank steak (1 pound)
Directions

1In a small bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Pout half of the marinade into a shallow dish; add steak and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.

2Drain and discard marinade from steak. Gill steak, covered, over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), basting occasionally with the reserved marinade.
