- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. shortening, softened
- 8 Tbsp. molasses
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix sugars, eggs, shortening and molasses.

2Add dry ingredients and mix well.

3Refrigerate dough for several hours. Shape into 1-inch round balls and roll in white sugar.

4Place on lightly greased baking sheet.

5Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
