- 1 c. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 5 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves, ground
Directions

1Mix all ingredients.

2Chill for 3 hours.

3Pinch off about 2 teaspoons of dough and roll into a ball with hands.

4Press with glass dipped in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.

5Bake at 350° for about 8 minutes.
