- 3 cups Squash (yellow Or Other Type), Cooked, Drained And Sliced
- 1 whole Large Onion, Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Grated
- 1 teaspoon Mixed Seasoning Such As Tony Chachere's
- 1 cup Ritz Crackers Crushed Up, Plus Additional For Topping
Directions

1Cook (I usually boil it or steam it) and drain the squash, then cut/slice it up and set it aside.

2Preheat oven to 350°.

3Saute onion in butter until caramelized. Remove from the pan and mix all ingredients together. Pour into a buttered casserole dish and top with the additional Ritz cracker crumbs. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

4Note: You can substitute cabbage for the squash.
