  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. alum
  • hot peppers

    Strip peppers into rings.

    Boil vinegar, water and sugar.

    Put salt, garlic and alum into a jar.

    Pack jar with peppers tightly and pour vinegar mixture over peppers.

    Seal jar and wait 30 days to eat.
