Ingredients
- 8 oz. white chocolate
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 7 eggs
- 2-1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1-3/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups almonds, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325F.

2Butter a 10x15-inch baking sheet (jelly roll pan).

3Dust with flour and shake out excess.

4Melt the chocolate and butter in a small saucepan over VERY low heat, or in the top of a double boiler.

5Set aside to cool slightly.

6Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla in a bowl with an electric mixer until thick and fluffy.

7Stir chocolate into the eggs.

8Add flour and the salt; mix until just combined; do not overmix.

9Stir in the chocolate chips.

10Stir in the chopped almonds, if desired.

11Bake in center of oven 25-30 minutes or until center of brownies is just set.

12Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares about 2x2-inches.
