- 1/2 c. pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Wash real good.

2Put in pan the night before you want to serve them and add water to cover plus 4 more cups water.

3Let set and next morning put on stove at low temperature.

4Add salt and ham hock (or vegetable oil).

5Cook until tender.

6Watch and don't let boil dry.
