Ingredients: 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine; 2 tablespoons sugar; 2 eggs, well beaten; 1 cup milk; 2 cups flour; 14 teaspoon salt; 4 teaspoons baking powder; 4 apples, peeled,cored and sliced; 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine; 1 cup confectioners' sugar; 12 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
14 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 apples, peeled,cored and sliced
12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
1 cup confectioners' sugar
12 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Cream 1/2 c.

butter or margarine with the 2 tbsps sugar.

Add eggs and sifted dry ingredients aleternately with the milk.

Pour into a shallow greased and floured baking tin.

Cover with the sliced apples and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.

For topping; Mix together the 1/2 c.

butter or margarine with the confectioners sugar and vanilla.

Spread over the hot cake.

Cool and cut into squares.
