  • 1 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

    Boil carrots in 1-inch of water and salt in a saucepan. Cook 15 minutes or until tender. Drain. Add butter, sugar and nutmeg. Return to heat and stir until carrots are glazed.
