- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
Directions

1Peel carrots; cut into 2-inch cylinders.

2Bring all ingredients except parsley, to a boil over moderate heat.

3Cover and simmer over low heat.

4Shake skillet occasionally to roll carrots about. If liquid cooks away too fast, add more water.
