- 1 lb. carrots, cut in large pieces
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1About 25 minutes before serving:

2Put carrots and salt in medium saucepan over medium heat in 1 inch boiling water.

3Cook for 15 minutes, or until tender but still firm.

4Drain.

5Add butter, sugar and nutmeg.

6Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until carrots are glazed.
