  • 1/2 lb. fresh carrots
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. pecans, almonds, walnuts (optional)

    Cook and stir brown sugar, salt and butter in 12-inch skillet until bubbly and add carrots and nuts.
