- 13 cups Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoons Sea Salt, Or Half The Amount Of Regular Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Gluten-Free Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 2 cups Raw Walnuts And/or Pecans
Directions

1Preheat a heavy, nonstick or stainless dry skillet over medium heat.

2In a glass measuring cup, combine the maple syrup, sea salt, vanilla, and cinnamon.

3Dump nuts into the warmed skillet.

4Stir them for 30 seconds to lightly toast the nuts.

5Pour the maple syrup and spices mixture over the nuts.

6Reduce the heat slightly and stir the nuts with a spatula continuously as the glaze thickens and reduces.

7This will take several minutes.

8Continue stirring the nuts while they are cooking to prevent them from burning.

9Lower the heat if necessary.

10When the glaze is almost gone, turn off the heat and continue stirring the nuts in the warm skillet until they are no longer sticky but covered with a tan-colored, maple sugar coating.

11Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy warm!

12If storing, allow the glazed nuts to cool completely before placing in a sealed container or bag.
