- Nonstick vegetable oil spray
- 1 1/2 cups pecans (about 6 ounces)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

1Preheat oven to 325F.

2Spray large baking sheet with nonstick spray.

3Stir pecans and oil in medium bowl to coat.

4Mix sugar, cayenne, and salt in small bowl, then add to pecan mixture and toss to coat.

5Scatter coated pecans on prepared baking sheet.

6Bake until pecans are brown and crisp, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

7Transfer baking sheet to rack and cool completely.
