- Acorn squash, well washed, cut into 1/2 inch thick rings, take seeds out
- 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 tbsp. water
- 3 tbsp. butter
Directions

1Steam the squash for 15 min.

2Place the squash rings in a shallow baking dish.

3Make a mix of the syrup, spice, water and butter.

4Heat till almost boiling.

5Pour over the squash.

6Bake 30 to 45 min at 350 degrees till squash is glazed.
