- 2 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 5 c. hot tap water
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 7 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Stir in large saucepan on top of stove the cornmeal, hot water, sugar, salt, margarine and milk.

2Cook over medium-high heat until well blended, about 3 or 4 minutes.

3Blend in beaten eggs.

4Cook to a full boil, reduce heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes.

5Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan or large cast-iron skillet.

6Bake for 30 minutes at 425°.

7Spread 1 tablespoon of margarine on top.

8Bake for 10 minutes more.
