Ingredients
- 1/3 c. lukewarm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sweet milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
Directions

1Put milk, Crisco and sugar in pan; warm it up enough to melt Crisco; set aside to cool.

2Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water.

3Sift flour.

4Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and cover with a wet cloth.

5Let rise and then put in the refrigerator.

6When ready to use, roll out, cut with biscuit cutter.

7Dip in melted butter, fold over in half.

8Press edges in place in order to hold together.

9Let rise again before baking at least 1 hour.

10Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until brown.
