- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1/3 c. Wheat Bran (100%)
- 1/4 c. nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. soft-style cream cheese or peanut butter
Directions

1In a mixer bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with electric mixer until well combined.

2Add flour, applesauce, oats, bran, powdered milk, egg white, soda, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and cloves.

3Beat on low speed just until combined.

4Stir in raisins and nuts.
