- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 6 tablespoons flour
- salt
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 lbs round steaks, 1-1/2 inch thick
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 cups canned tomatoes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 celery rib, diced
Directions

1Mix together chili powder, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and celery salt.

2Pound this mixture into steak that is 1-1/2 inch thick.

3Cook in a cast iron skillet with lid off, on top of stove, until brown.

4Put the canned tomatoes, sliced onion, and diced celery over the steak.

5Bake covered in a 300 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2-1/2 hours

6For the last 1/2 hour leave lid off.
