- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix
- 1 lb. 4x sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
Directions

1Mix butter, 1 egg, nuts and cake mix, then pat out in 9 x 12-inch Pyrex.

2Stir cream cheese, then add sugar and 2 eggs alternately, beginning and ending with sugar.

3Pour over first mixture.

4Bake at 325° about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
