- 1 (6 to 8 lb.) goose
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 large onion
- 2 tart apples, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic to taste
- sage to taste
- water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Boil giblets in water until tender.

2Chop very fine and add to bread, onion, apples, salt, pepper, garlic and sage or any other seasoning you prefer.

3Add water until stuffing is just moistened. Stuff goose and place in roasting pan.

4Pour melted butter over goose.

5Cover and roast at 325° until tender, about 25 minutes, per pound of meat.
