  • 1 lb. hamburg
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 to 2 medium peppers
  • 1 can (plum) whole, peeled tomatoes
  • 3 c. elbow macaroni (uncooked measurement)

Directions

    Brown hamburg, add diced onions, diced garlic, salt and cut celery, simmer and cover until tender.

    Add cut up pepper and cook until tender.

    Add can of tomatoes.

    Squeeze tomatoes as you add to pan.

    Simmer 1/2 hour.

    Add the cooked elbows to the goulash.
