- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 c. stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper
- 2 c. cooked kidney beans
- 2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Cook onion and green pepper in fat until lightly browned.

2Add tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper to taste.

3Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

4Add beans and rice; mix.

5Turn into casserole.

6Bake in 250° to 300° oven for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
