Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef chuck, cut in 2-inch cubes
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 c. beef bouillon
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 c. peeled, diced tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. bouquet garni

Directions

    Cook beef and onions in hot fat until onions are soft and yellow.

    Lightly stir in flour, salt and paprika.

    Cook 5 minutes and add bouillon, tomato sauce, peeled tomatoes, garlic and bouquet.

    Heat to boiling; cover.

    Bake at 350° for 90 minutes. Serve over hot noodles or macaroni.
