- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 2 large carrots, sliced
- celery, sliced
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 can peas
- 3 onions, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. rice
Directions

1Cut up round steak as in stew.

2Brown beef and sliced onions. Add celery.

3Add tomato sauce, peas and carrots (sliced).

4Thicken as in gravy and pour over 1 1/2 cups cooked rice.

5Simmer stew about 1 hour before thickening.
